GoWhee, a family-travel app, needed a consistent, story-driven video presence across YouTube and Instagram to build brand awareness during an early growth phase. The internship’s goal was to stand up a repeatable content pipeline, from script to publish, that could scale weekly output without losing the brand’s voice.
Owned video production end to end: sourced and edited every piece of footage, wrote the scripts, and recorded and edited the voiceover for each one. Output spanned 88 short-form Reels and Shorts and 12 long-form videos, including the full first season of the branded podcast series “Unpack with GoWhee”~ 7 episodes cut into 35 additional clips.
Every video shipped with its own caption, description, and hashtag set, tailored per platform and edited in Canva and Riverside to keep tone and pacing consistent from post to post.
The channel’s YouTube subscriber base grew 50% over the six-month internship, a direct result of the consistent cadence and brand-aligned editing the pipeline made possible. YouTube Studio analytics confirm the content is performing well past that window too, with Shorts pulling real watch-through and video impressions climbing double digits year-over-year.
