Summary

This GoWhee travel app case study covers my six-month content internship. GoWhee is a family travel app, and I built its weekly video pipeline for YouTube and Instagram.

Objective:

Building a Video Presence for a Family Travel App

GoWhee was in an early growth phase. As a result, it needed a steady, story-driven video presence to build brand awareness. My goal was to create a repeatable pipeline from script to publish. In addition, it had to scale weekly output while keeping the brand’s voice consistent.

Process:

Video Production From Script to Publish

First, I handled video production start to finish. That meant sourcing and editing footage, writing scripts, and recording voiceovers. Over six months, I produced 88 short-form Reels and Shorts plus 12 long-form videos. This also included the first season of GoWhee’s podcast, Unpack with GoWhee. Those 7 episodes then became 35 more clips.

Next, every video got its own caption, description and hashtag set for each platform. Finally, I used Canva and Riverside to keep tone and pacing consistent.

As a result, GoWhee’s YouTube subscriber base grew 50% during my internship. A steady posting schedule and on-brand editing drove that growth. Even after I left, the work kept paying off. For example, Shorts still earn real watch-through, and impressions are up by double digits year over year.

In short, consistency beats virality for a growing brand.
