This MIRA Safety affiliate marketing case study covers my internship on MIRA’s affiliate team. I researched partners, ran outreach and built creative to help the program grow.
MIRA Safety makes protective gear, including gas masks and filters. The goal was to find new affiliates and brand partners who fit that product line. In addition, the team needed creative assets that partners could use right away.
First, I researched and tracked 178 potential affiliates and brand partners. They spanned seven verticals, including industrial PPE, chemical safety, family preparedness, and homesteading.
Next, I reached out through personalized emails and Instagram DMs. Each message tied the creator’s niche to MIRA’s products.
Meanwhile, I built creative to support the outreach. That included banner ads in standard sizes, email headers and footers, and a workflow for embedding images in emails. I also wrote creative briefs, newsletters and affiliate content for the wider marketing team.
As a result, 50 of the 178 prospects reached active outreach. That outreach earned 13 direct replies. Three partners then moved into active collaboration talks.
Together, the tracked list reaches about 45.8 million followers and subscribers. In other words, it shows the program’s potential top-of-funnel reach.
I love the creative side of vibe coding. For example, I used Claude to build an interactive quiz that helps customers find the right filter for their situation. It’s hosted on Google Sites, so affiliates can share it as content.
I also created family banner copy for MIRA Safety. First, I wrote the creative brief. Then I coordinated with the creative team to develop banners for the affiliate team.
